A low entry price means little if rights requests, breach response and data discovery sit on a higher plan. This page compares DPDP tools a startup is likely to shortlist on one question: what does the entry price actually include? The core DPDP duties apply from 13 May 2027.

Common questions

What is the most affordable complete DPDP compliance tool?

Of the tools we compared, Privacy Labs has the lowest published price for a plan that includes rights requests, breach response and data discovery: ₹4,999 a month, or ₹49,990 a year paid annually.

Is a cookie banner enough for DPDP compliance?

No. From 13 May 2027 the DPDP Rules also require a Rule 3 notice for each consent, consent records, a way to withdraw, rights and grievance handling, breach reporting and contracts with processors.

How much does DPDP compliance cost in India?

Published prices run from ₹4,999 a month for self-serve software to ₹4,00,000 or more for a consultant-led project. Check what the entry plan includes: several tools put rights requests and breach response on higher or custom-priced plans.

When do I need a DPDP compliance tool?

The core duties apply from 13 May 2027. Finding your personal data, writing notices and setting up consent and rights processes takes months, so most teams start well before that date.
